a fully rearmed Germany and Japan. That runs counter to 70 years of bipartisan US policy. Yeah, it may be well and good in the short run if they are on your side.

But part of the US being the world's policeman is that while Russia and China may not like us, their respective feelings about Germany and Japan run viscerally deep.

Anyways enough about that stuff tonight. I should say something about food, something about the NFL, and something about how I just don't get the fascination with the Star Wars universe.
