*not for me.* I look at my phone to see how many emails and messages I have. the pixel only told me *that* I had messages.

I needed to interact with the phone to learn anything. my current phone tells me at a glance "you have two text messages, seven work emails, two personal emails, and 99 social media notifications."
charlie told me there was a away to make the pixel give me badges on my icons, but he started explaining the process and there was just no way.
it seems like a small thing, I know, but I use those numbers to tell me how stressed I should be and to organize my time. I felt like I had no idea what was going on in my life.
is this weird?
also I hated the fact that in order to choose a photo for someone in my phone, I had to get a third party contacts app. it was just so aggressively google.
