I wonder if accountability will apply to them. The fact that you had a candidate lie in the most childish and obvious ways and still win is startling.

He's on tape joking about sexual assault. Gary Hart dropped out in disgrace because of a picture of a younger woman sitting on his lap (ok, there was an affair but still...). The Trump reality we're all in now is amazingly frightening. This is how really bad things happen.
Maybe they'll be held accountable but I think there's an equal chance that they'll be able to blame it away on someone/something else just as easily.
