putting down animals is basically what animal control does in every city. do people not know this?....

when i lived in cambridge, a raccoon ended up on my 4th floor porch. i thought it might be sick, so i called animal control. the guy came and took a look and said it wasn't rabid or anything, but he could get rid of it if i wanted. when i said no, he was sort of surprised.
