I could go into detail about how my boss's client work has declined significantly this year while we're still paying him the same amount, but I don't think it's relevant.
Is the employee working here today? Yes
Would cutting the bonus help our financial position? No
Give the employee the damn bonus along with everyone else like you're a human being and not a computer.
