I think that, like gyms, you should be able to switch carriers when you move without paying the cancel fee.

sprint was awesome for me in allentown but stunk here. I legitimately needed to switch.
I think many people get upset very easily when talking to CSRs and don't realize that CSRs will, eventually, react to rudeness or anger. so like, "I had a bad experience at AT&T once" is often "I was a bitch to the at & t CSR and she still wouldn't give me what I want."
