Seeing as Wagner is the reigning World Silver medalist and she won the first international medal for a US woman since like, Kimmie Meissner

I wouldn't count her out on either stage. She has yet to do her best skating this year though.
However, Gracie Gold would do exactly as you described and she's a big head case. She gave away the World title in Boston last year. (and she's had a horrific season so far.)
