he goes to chicago without telling the team and misses a game. his explanation is he had to be with his mom. he says he didn't pick up the phone when the knicks called, because he needed his "space"

wtf?--your employer is paying you 21$ million a year. you probably have an obligation to have told them where you were, when they called. heck if you took a minute to text them sometime while you were en route to chicago and said you had to go for family reasons, the team and the fans would probably have cut you the slack you'll never get again.
