The correlation between Glenn Beck's "catastrophist" viewpoint, and how "the left" is viewing Trump is not lost on me.

Their viewpoint that Obama was horrible for the country and that he took us down a road of ruin (which, factually, doesn't bore out in facts) is the way that the alt-right presented fear mongering to that viewpoint.

Now we (Bill Maher included) are decrying Trump is going to destroy the country, so it's the opposite, and of course we feel we're right.

I think logic is on our side, but they (alt-right) believed the same.
