I'm sorry :/ when I tried cymbalta for pain earlier this year, the sleep stuff was brutal. -- (edited)

sleeplessness and then no restful sleep.

I felt just awful for those dealing with it taking it for its more common non-pain use. (alas, it didn't help my pain - it has subsequently helped a family member that way, though; and she was fortunate to not have the sleep or other side effects I had, one of which still lingers months later, eep, but not the sleep stuff or vertigo, phew.)

ed. to add: my best friend had to try a number of drugs before finding a combo that brought help without the hard to accept side effects - the process sucked, but I'd say it saved her life. if therapy alone isn't helping, please consider trying something else.
