something on his service prior to Okinawa on Guam and in the Philippines, where he earned 2 Bronze Stars.

The movie makes it seem as if he was only in combat for 2 days instead of over a year.

I really liked Vince Vaughn's performance with some hilarious lines delivered with no signs of mirth in his look or voice.
