I remember the incredible relief when all the X-Fans saw and approved. I totally agree that he was perfectly cast.

Not that this has anything to do with casting but there are several shots in the first movie of Wolverine which are perfectly comic book like.
He's perfect in the role.
RDJ is also perfectly cast.
