Oh absolutely. I hung out with the Drinking Liberally crowds in both Portland and DC, and they all seemed like good folks.

The DC group would often co-locate with the Drinking Conservatively group, but that was over a decade ago. If they tried that now, they'd end up like a bunch of spitting and hissing alley cats.
