Regarding the Bannon thing on B2, I just finished an having an argument with one of my partners about this. He is an anti-Trump, staunch republican.

Obviously highly educated and very smart. And in discussing how the media is trying to figure out how to handle coverage of Trump he states that the mainstream media is uniformly staunchly liberal but won't admit its leanings and as a result of their failure to admit their bias they deserve all the attacks that Bannon and the Trumpers are throwing at them. Why? Apparently they never covered Benghazi, they never vetted Obama and his extreme Chicago connections to Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers or his inexperience in governing, yet they focused attention on Mitt Romney's 47% comments. Of course he had no response to my asking how, since I don't watch Fox News, I would know about all these things if the mainstream press wasn't covering them.
We are so fucked.

On the Obama stuff, the Chicago SunTimes, at the time the liberal paper, covered all that. Lynn Sweet, politcal reporter, was the expert on him.. -- nm*
