oddly we get a lot of produce from BC here in WA, low cost water (and power?) and agricultural buildings are not taxed (as much?)

I knew a photographer who built 2 huge greenhouses for his studios, would also grow/sell landscape shrubs etc, plus landscape supplies, first as a side to get his studio off tax rates but that turned into his main job...but he had big sets with waterfalls etc.
there are huge 'tent' towns of greenhouses, all mostly plastic sheeting where a lot of tomatoes, salad greens are grown
