in to look at police abuse which is undoubtedly a factor in what's going on. Police corruption, illegal arrests, police code of silence, is a factor in code of silence of residents from providing intel to police that would help their efforts. It's a spiral. He also pushed for tighter gun laws. But other issues that don't involve corruption of the local governments are typically not viewed as federal issues. I can't think of another example where the feds got involved like this.
