Depends on what you view as the issues and what you view the role of the federal government as. These are typically local issues. They did send feds

in to look at police abuse which is undoubtedly a factor in what's going on. Police corruption, illegal arrests, police code of silence, is a factor in code of silence of residents from providing intel to police that would help their efforts. It's a spiral. He also pushed for tighter gun laws. But other issues that don't involve corruption of the local governments are typically not viewed as federal issues. I can't think of another example where the feds got involved like this.
