My neighborhood here is somewhat diverse but far less so than the neighborhood I was in in Chicago. -- (edited)

It was one of the first things I noticed when I moved here and it saddened me, I lost a little something due to the decreased diversity.
The overall diversity of NYC tends to offset that though
