What was the last big issue that Republican votes in Congress were split? I'm thinking 2006, when Bush proposed immigration reform.

And despite the last decade having been one of virtual civil war (Tea Party vs establishment) about the party direction and doing some very unorthodox approaches - eg shutdown brinksmanship, SC nomination blocking, etc - with little to no in-party dissent.

(I don't mean a small split, like a couple of votes needed to pass a piece of legislation, but a split with sizeable groups on both sides)
