The blue line terminates under O'Hare. when it comes out of O'Hare, it goes above ground

and runs down the center divider of the O'Hare entry/exit highway. It then exits O'Hare property and runs down the median of the I-90/I-94 (Kennedy) expressway for a a good number of stops. At points during this, the METRA commuter rail is running parallel to the blue line, but not in the media (METRA at that points runs just west of the eastbound/southbound lanes). Eventually blue line leaves the expressway and dips into the neighborhoods (this is when you start getting to the oldest parts of the line) and I think METRA crosses over the Kennedy and stars running on the east side toward downtwon
