On uneven ground it will get tricky and require shimming, but you could use decking blocks and post footers and place the whole structure above the

ground. Stability could be an issue depending on the size of the equipment, bracing, etc. However, this prevents wood encased in concrete which will rot eventually (even plastic wrapped wood).

A lot of the solution depends on how much time, energy, and money you want to put into it.
Which leads to the ultimate question - How long do you want it to last?
