So at our Crab Feed tonight I had to do announcements, read off the raffle prize winning numbers, etc. only problem was the microphone wasn't working

correctly, and people in this huge hall couldn't hear. So, I had to break out my command voice. About halfway through everything they thought they had the issues fixed and someone else started calling out numbers. Except...the issue wasn't really fixed, and people started grumbling, so I stepped back in and said let's get back to doing this the old fashioned way, and started barking out the rest of the winning numbers, and everyone starts clapping. 350 people in attendance in a huge American Legion hall...who needs a microphone when you've got a command voice that could wake the dead?! HOOAH!

Oh, and they fixed the microphone just as I was finishing up. Just needed fresh batteries. heh
