I think we are getting into the politicization of EVERYTHING.

Maybe this is because I wasn't an adult with a family at the time and paid less attention, but it seems like we are getting more and more divided in everything.
People are dropping friends on social media based on what side they come out on.
People are choosing for one media outlet over another, one paper over another.
I see local businesses with signs, post-election, essentially proclaiming what side they come out on. Because of Trump's unique nature, businesses are able to support him or go against him. People are choosing his hotels or actively avoiding them. They are taking his name off of the building they live in.
This election has driven a monster wedge into America.
