Though I am quite happy to have new one (that I will probably take to a new carrier in 5 weeks), the being without a phone for a little over a day has been... an interesting experience so far.

When I didn't have one for about 2 weeks it was rough at first, but then became actually less stressful. -- nm

I use Waze for my commute, so that part sucked. The phone functions, just no screen. So bluetooth connected it while driving so I could make calls. -- nm
