its sorta sad watching someone else get the work opportunity which, in theory, was yours to take

but instead of being able to prove that you can do it, the manager hands it to their favorite staff (meaning like at least two hierarchical levels below me in seniority) after lashing out at you regarding your "poor performance"
which was a shock, since I hadn't had any such reviews/comments until this all happened in January.
So now I sit here, and I am back to having to beg to find work, and the Partners are all like "you should just keep your head down and prove your value" which is funny because now no one wants me on their engagement teams so I am the person of last resort, meaning I dont get any opportunity to prove anything more than that I can be thrown into a situation and finish those projects, but I will never get to manage anything that way. I can take responsibility for anything more than my work since I am still not part of a team, more of a temp hire..
its probably time to look for a new job.
