Unless he's using less caffeinated grounds than he normally would it wouldn't have any less caffeine.

The water is going to pass over and brew the same amount of regular grounds on it's way to the pot.

It might even have slightly more since decaf coffee does have a small amount of caffeine, and those are being brewed too.
