the free thing is totally workable. You just top out at 10k messages in the back buffer. We use free for the EVE slack and we've got like 4300
|
people registered so really free isn't an issue. It's just more that it's geared towards work teams and some things like public email addresses and people being able to IM across groups could be weird depending
