I know it was the heavy-hitter. I know it was odds on favorite when Elle was not nominated. It was undeserving and the best film won. It's sad that it will be perceived, and it probably was, due to politics.
But. The. Best. Film. Won. (Not seen Tanna and Land of Mine. The best of the 3 I saw won.)
