I honestly don't know what people could want more from a host.

he had a few repetitive jokes, and a few low-hanging fruit jokes like the President who likes Art and Science, but there were laughs three hours plus into the show via Matt Damon.
that's more laughs than Doogie Howser had in his monologue.
And the tour bus skit turned out pretty competently harmless thanks to the engaged couple...
