we got some unfavorable news today: my dishwasher is delayed a week. so maybe next tuesday. maybe next friday.

it depends on whether the counter people will do measure (and maybe install) without the dishwasher in place.
it's a tiny space. cabinets come tomorrow, so tomorrow is repair walls and install cabinets. tuesday is range hood. then we just wait for counters and appliances, tile and paint, out.
the initial estimate was five days and that assumed that all of the tiled walls would need to be re-drywalled. so 3.5 or four days working time? my contractor is here until the 20th for his mom's birthday so he doesn't mind the holding time.
