Analytically, they've got Gonzaga as the #4 overall seed as a one-loss team.

Even if they'd gone undefeated, they might be the #1 overall seed.
RPI and Kenpom offer a good picture of overall team strength. Those metrics think Wichita State is like #9 overall. Coaches in the conference thought ISU was better.
The whole thing is maddening.
