if you're actually planning on purchasing whenever, I'd recommend waiting for bergdorf or bloomingdale's to have one of their promos where you spent xxx and get xx to spend on more - they occasionally include beauty items.
I bought some gifts and a couple of laura mercier body and hand sets a few years ago that way - there were gifts with purchase, too; and of course I used a cashback site and I think discover was having a 5% quarter for department stores, too. gotta maximize $$ while buying still-overpriced products. ;) -
