i was totally thinking that we'd see Jack die or something this week. They've been building it up, the daughter finally started to cave in to the boyfriend and even said that, in as many words, her dad's death was her fault ....
it was a good episode, but i was a little disappointed. i kept expecting at any second .... he's going to get in the car and drive off, and the cliche is going to happen -- as he's passing through an intersection, he gets blind-sided.
cut to closing credits and leave us hanging ...
but that never happened. instead, we get a time-out on the marriage, and still wondering when, where, and how he eventually dies ...
