what possessed them to go in this direction of sounding like every other pop/alternative artist in the top 5? This is so not their base and you know the record label didn't convince them to do this - they have more clout as a band then to let them be dictated like this - and the song sucks on top of everything else.

Its not like the genre they are known for is dying off - its not - its thriving for fucks sake

silver lining - we will get a " back to our roots" album in 2 years.
