In response to "Running in the heat has always been her Achilles heel too. But" by prayformojo

Early AM is excellent

Your job will be to not think that she's crazy for going to bed at 8-9 PM to complete a long run before it warms up the next morning.

When it going to be 'warm' by 8 AM and the run is going to take 3-4 hours that means running by 4-5 in the morning, add in 30-60 min to get ready before run......

When put like that it sounds crazy but it will be evolving schedule, the runs are going to get longer so they take more time so start a little earlier each week and then by the end, well, the above results.

And while it still is kind of crazy, assure her that there's almost a smug feeling at the end of long, early morning run perhaps a decent chunk done pre-dawn knowing that while others are still sleeping or just getting starting their runs, that she's gone 15-20 miles.

Oh and the other one is in trying to avoid the heat, there's the idea of staying out of the sun so maybe evening runs. Better than just cooking but early morning is better. 1) It makes for a pretty late night as sundown gets later and later 2) Pre-dawn, just dawn morning is way cooler as evening just doesn't have sun. It still has to cool down from the day vs morning it has been cooling all night
