Them being on different blind dates is standard.
But it seemed like it was set up to wrap it all up if need be, but then they got renewed so they changed it.
As it is, the daughter admitting that she was the reason is just dangling out there unresolved. They even showed her and Toby again they are past that conversation like it never happened.
