It's not that one specifically I have a problem with but them being here in general. One or two is fine but they're also opening in parts

of Brooklyn that aren't tourist areas and are residential areas dominated by locally owned businesses. They're also opening in the East Village and as you mentioned Hell's Kitchen. Both areas have had lots of locally owned businesses though the last decade has seen a good number of them close. We as New Yorkers don't fight or do enough to protect these businesses which recirculate a greater share of every dollar into the local economy.
I'd rather pay a few bucks more to someone local than to a faceless chain store.
