I always heard there was an unexploded bomb under my Aunt's front steps. My Mom's major complaint against the Germans was

that, after she'd spent time and effort preserving a summer's worth of fruit and veggies, they dropped a random bomb near the house where she was working causing all the jars to fall and break.

They lived between the south coast and London where Jerry used to drop his unused bombs on the way home.
