It's reminding me too much of No Man's Sky so far. (spoilers)

On Eos, I spent several hours roaming around. I finished the quest with the brother's pendant and the one involving the murder.
I have another one about geology that's been nothing but aggravation. The spot they show is in a radioactive area, so my suit keeps failing on me. Also, my car keeps exploding. I've created at least three waypoints to get new ones, but I'm kind of stuck on how to proceed there.
I've also come across two areas that show as glyphs on the map, but I haven't figured out how to proceed.
On the main quest, Kim came home last night right as I was making progress. I'm currently infiltrating a base after killing everything. I'm currently turning off the power to get inside it. I have no idea how far into the main quest I am.
I've also launched probes to find anomalies at other places in that galaxy, and I have a mineral mining orb that I've launched on Eos. It doesn't seem to be doing anything, though. I presume it might take some time.
So far, I'm not sure if I like the game. A lot of it feels like busy work.
