If he'd taken the contract he gets 100% but then he's out of a job in 6 months. If the contract goes to your company, that money goes into the company's coffers not into the guy's pockets, but the only reason the contract is here in the first place is the guy, so there should be an equitable split of that contract money. 3% is not equitable.
