I hope it makes Trump look weaker to his fans. He always said he could negotiate to get stuff done (even with the democrats). Here they completely

ignored the democrats since they have the numbers and he can't get it done even with his own party. The real point obviously is that his party (despite trying to show unity now that they have all this power) continues to be a fractured group. They have a coalition (to a point) rather than a true party.
