I'm going to have to give The Good Place credit for something. (season finale spoilers)

The criticism that I see the most is that Jason Mendoza isn't suffering enough in The Bad Place.
While I always point out that his moment of desolation occurs when he tells Janet that she's the only one who talks to him, I've always thought that was kind of a stretch.
Until today.
We took two of our cats to the vet today. Jack-Jack, whose sole purpose in life is to love everyone unconditionally, was left alone, possibly for the first time in his entire life.
Despite the fact that the other two cats went to the vet, where one had fluids added and the other got her rump shaved, Jack-Jack is the one who is freaked out. I'd joked to Kim that he'd probably be enjoying the kitty version of Risky Business without us. Instead, he's wildly upset that he was alone.
Jack-Jack had a bud hole but no buds to share it with. That demonic punishment tracks.
