Qantas recently made a rule that you can't wear hi-vis clothes in the lounges to keep all the dirty miners out.

they do some mine flights, and some companies just use their regular flights for FIFO workers. those guys fly usually a flight a week, so they're all platinum, but they have to wear their work clothes on the flights. Qantas doesn't like all the high-vis and work boots in the lounge (and maybe also a bit of classism), so no more miners unless they're management.
