My brother has the numbers thing too. He had to throw a tennis ball a certain number of times against the chimney or throw darts and hit numbers -- (edited)

a specific number of times. When he started throwing the tennis ball against the fireplace and it bounced into everything in the living room, my mom made him stop. He became a hoarder. Boy was she sorry.
