Anecdotal, but I was speaking with a work connection/former Conservative staffer a couple of weeks ago, and he was saying not to underestimate O'Leary

That he's learning a lot as he campaigns, that his events are a lot better run than they were, etc
He's a Raitt supporter FWIW.
