I'd be curious on your friend's second choice. Where Raitt people go could determine this. On KOL....

...I've heard similar and that he's bought himself a strong team (many of the Belinda Stronach mercenaries from 2004, augmented with some additional pick ups from the last few years).

I just don't see him winning over enough of the second choice folks to get to 50% plus one. (At least 60K votes or so.) His lack of french, his lack of seriousness. He communicates extremely well - almost conclusively the most important component of a modern leader - however, he needed just a little more time to show he wasn't just doing this on a lark. He should have been working the party for nine months, not three.
