Any other users notice a new screen in front of the lock screen?

for about a week now I've gotten this screen, featuring pretty pictures and the weather forecast. I swipe passed that and get to the lock screen for which I use my password.

That first screen I mentioned is new and annoying. It's not very responsive so I have to precisely swipe and it's redundant.

I haven't downloaded anything and didn't accept any new update.

I've gone to the Display settings and can't find anything that looks like what this is.

Anyone else seeing this new screen?

i have, though it only appears to show up when I have my phone completely muted, with a message saying so -- nm - prayformojo Mar 30, 10:23 1
