a guy who was just behind the Rock and Austin during the attitude era who looks damn near the same as he did 15 years ago (granted a little smaller)...my pure guess is that Vince's thinking is that they'll get people who've lapsed but know those names to tune in for that and hopes to keep a percentage of them as subscribers. the PPV buys are just bonus money now really.
And I totally get what you're saying about Vince and company needing to focus on the current talent. I get that. I do. But the current talent doesn't generate the kind of news that Goldberg and lesnar generates. Not for lack of trying though
