Today I learned - watching Jeopardy - that there's a league of tennis teams. It's called World Team Tennis.

I did some digging and discovered that internationally ranked singles players - such as Venus Williams - are members of teams like the Washington Kastles.

I can only imagine that someone's pulling an elaborate hoax, or someone with a time machine messed things up and I'm the only one who noticed. Next you'll be telling me there's a national league for football.
