Multiple local governments are trying to cut their electricity bills for govt facilities, street lights, etc. by going to more energy-efficient bulbs
GA Power saw this coming and several years ago went to their elected Public Service Commission to require that any government wanting to switch to LED street lights use this 1 pre-approved fixture with a ton of additional bells and whistles that nobody cares about... which coincidentally, didn't save the governments any money.
