Ghost in the Shell: D+ I was stunned how bad it was--example: (spoilers) and mini rant

At the end--was a funking Spider Tank--out of nowhere--Did we learn nothing from Wild Wild West?! And it was being controlled, remotely--SO the main bad guy had to be shot--by a different character (that we really had no big attachment to), in his lair/a totally separate location.
So much posing and longing looks going on--Felt like Zoolander was directing it.
BTW--she (Scarlet) escaped from the lab, the bad guy shot through the glass to kill the scientist that let her go--but couldn't shot through the glass to stop her from escaping or killing her directly, before that? What?!
Really just felt like it was trying to be some sort of prequel to Blade Runner with the special effects.
Don't give me that I have know the origins and it being true to the cartoon, etc...I've seen that stuff, and I appreciated it-- & I also saw this movie--this movie was bad.
